Orion Security Solutions is looking for some information security engineers. A successful candidate must be self motivated and possess strong communication and writing skills. Though total experience may vary, a background and education experience related to computers, networking, or information security is a requisite. For example, applicants may have practical experience in areas such as PKI and related standards, intrusion detection and prevention, cryptography and related standards, network operating system administration and security, software design and development, security testing and evaluation, etc.

Tasks are usually "hands on", so strong analysis skills coupled with technical knowledge is a must. Some experience with software application development (current or past) is highly desirable. Lastly, due to the nature of our work and customers, US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is preferred.

Orion Security Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for individuals with expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Common Criteria development, usage, CC based evaluations, or CC based validations
• PKI software development
• Software development in C++ in Windows environment or in Java
• FIPS 140-1/2 evaluations, evidence development, or design of products for FIPS 140-1/2 compliance
• EKMS
• Type 1 cryptographic devices design or operations

For this position, applicants must possess a Bachelors’ (preferably advanced) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
