As the Security Technical Manager, you will make your mark by:
* Leading and providing guidance to technical security team members
* Developing workplans for technical security solutions.
* Managing all security architecture functions and roles
* Maintaining the technical security strategy
* Defining, budgeting, and coordinating the implementation of the information security technical strategic plan, staffing plan, and training plan
* Managing the security product evaluation process
* Reporting on technical security strategy implementation and team performance
* Providing oversight and guidance for technical security projects
* Identifying and direct the research for new and improved security technology for existing and new business initiatives
* Ensuring that detailed documentation of technical security requirements and architecture are maintained.
* Managing security infrastructure operational support
* Maintaining a highly developed knowledge of best practice security technologies.
* Providing thought leadership in technical security matters
TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have:
* BS or BA degree
* Minimum 4 – 6 years experience working in Information Technology field.
* Minimum 4 years experience in Information Security.
* Minimum 1 year management experience.
* Knowledge of Unix, Java, WebLogic, RACF, Thor Xellerate, RSA, Clear Trust, SiteMinder, Active Directory (AD)
* A solid technical background with experience in system delivery including functional and technical design, build, and test.
* The ability to identify best practices both within and outside TFS and implements them to solve problems effectively.
* An understanding of network and system security issues.
* Experience architecting systems and application development.
* Expertise in security aspects of applications, Windows, Unix, Mainframe, firewalls, routers, and RDBMS.
